Don’t waste your time with another boot camp class that won’t get you the kind of results you want. Our Met Con (short for Metabolic Conditioning) class uses methods that are backed by real science and are proven to make you shed unwanted fat, all while building a stronger, healthier you. Take advantage of The Spot’s ability to create world class athletes like Team USA Freestyle Wrestling member JD Bergman and World Jiu Jitsu champ Vitor Oliveira, and let us use this expertise to shape the fittest and best looking body you have ever had. We use a number of methods in our Met Con classes including High Intensity Interval Training, Circuit Weight Training and Compound training. Studies have shown that this style of training can elevate metabolism for up to 36 hours following the completion of activity. This means after class is over, you will still be burning fat. Studies have also shown that this style of training helps to stimulate the sympathetic nervous system to burn more fat as compared to steady-state exercise. Simply put, our workouts will produce much greater results in all systems than your typical aerobic based Boot Camp. The benefits of metabolic conditioning are endless as almost every facet of strength and conditioning is improved. This includes increases in strength and cardiovascular endurance, power, speed and metabolism. In our classes we also use mobility, soft tissue and proprioceptive drills that are not only imperative to athletes, but to anyone who wants to stay injury free and healthy. Met Con classes are very challenging, but also very fun and empowering at the same time. Other boot camps focus more on yelling at you than getting actual results, but our instructors use years of experience and knowledge to motivate and transform participants’ bodies. Each Met Con training package comes with a complimentary fitness assessment that is to be completed prior to the the start of class. The Fitness Assessment will include a health history questionnaire and an optional 7-site body fat analysis test. These assessments allow us to provide you with the best Met Con Class experience possible.
